Wendy Arredondo "The Mighty Oak Tree" by Johnny Ray Ryder Jr.

But I have roots stretched in the earth,
Growing stronger since my birth;
You'll never touch them,for you see,
They are the deepest part of me.

I choose these lines because,some people will never see the inside of me. Something I can relate to is that my feet are always on the ground,just like roots of a tree. Even if you know me really well I won't really show the roots of who I am. I will just keep them inside of me. No one will ever see them just me. The reason why I choose this picture was because,the tree might shine on the outside but we don't really know what's truly on the inside.
